From 1982 to 1983, Japanese mountaineers wore PTFE composite fabrics and climbed the mountains at an altitude of 8,000 meters. The clothes withstood the test of severe weather conditions of -30℃ and wind speed of 30m/s. The athletes did not have any frostbite and returned safely.
